Find Your Inner Self

You may feel inquisitive and curious today and want to examine the direction of your life more closely. You could be filled with questions about your life purpose or path and laboring under feelings of uncertainty about which choices may be best for you. It could be beneficial to put aside your decision-making for a later time and strive to gain clarity about your situation today. If you can set a...side some time to be alone, you may be able to clear your mind of cluttered thoughts. Focusing on the silence within you will help you feel clearer and lighter. You will also be able to access your inner wisdom for the answers you seek.

Choosing to clear our minds of cluttered thoughts and adopt a more peaceful outlook about our life circumstances helps us feel calmer and more in control. Our feelings of confusion and uncertainty can easily turn into frustration if we don’t take the time to mentally work through issues and attempt to resolve them. Rather than allowing ourselves to feel overwhelmed with confusion, we can choose to release our scattered thoughts and focus on the silence within. Almost immediately, we will begin to feel lighter and more peaceful, and our minds will become clearer. We can then tune into our wisdom more easily. By making an effort to quiet your mind and relax your body today, you can regain a sense of inner peace and clarity about your life.

Don't Show Favoritism

WISDOM: My brothers, as believers in our glorious Lord Jesus Christ, don’t show favoritism.
–James 2:1
Don’t show favoritism….instead show mercy!
James tells believers bluntly not to show favoritism because Jesus didn’t. Favoritism is discriminating and passing judgment on others (Jesus’ job, not ours). God judges the heart, not appearances. God chose the poor to be rich in faith and yet the ...people (you) insult them. The rich often sin against you (the people) in their quest for money.

If you show favoritism you sin. Even if you stumble and break just one law you are guilty of breaking them all. We are not to choose which laws are more important. We are called simply to obey.

We are free to show favoritism or not but out of mercy we must choose not to for this mercy will then be shown to us on Judgment Day and mercy is greater than judgment.

POSITIVE ATTITUDE

Well, I have to be the strong one, and say I am sorry if I offend you with my words. I am not sorry for what I said, but I am sorry if you were offended. You may not understand why I am trying to lead a “positive” lifestyle in every area of my life. My attitude determines most of what I will experience each day.Yet, it is something that I find easy to neglect. I want to be someone others WANT to be around, because I lift their energy, attitude, and spirit.

We can achieve a serene state of mind by exploring healthy ways to combat negative energy. Anxiety and nervousness can build inside us and affect our actions and our state of mind. Rather than allowing our negative energy to push us into nonstop activities, we can choose to release it in conscious, healthy ways. Turning our thoughts to less nerve-racking manners will also have a positive effect on our bodies. We then feel calm and peaceful as we go about our daily activities. Burning off negative energy will help to regain inner balance and calm.

Having a positive attitude is imperative to being successful and manifesting our goals.
A fully functioning positive attitude comprises TWO essential components.
     1.  Willingness to look at yourself and a willingness to change.
     2.  Being open to new ideas and concepts

There is more to life than what we see. Each of these components plays an integral part in our overall disposition on a daily basis.  Doubts and fears can create cracks in the foundation of these components. These cracks negatively impact our ability to generate positive energy,  We all have difficulty continually demonstrating a fully positive attitude throughout an entire day.

ONCE AGAIN I APOLOGIZE IF YOU WERE OFFENDED.

Striking a Balance with Sodium and Potassium

AWARENESS PEOPLE: I came across this article by  +Carolyn Richardson on About.com: these are her words:
It’s no secret that too much salt is bad for you, but what about getting enough potassium?  A recent study suggests balancing sodium and potassium intake could lower the chance of death from heart disease, but Americans' are anything but.  Americans reportedly get more than twice the adequate amount of sodium daily, 4,000 mg or more.  Less than 10% limit daily sodium intake to the recommended 2,300 mg (for salt-sensitive populations not more than 1,500 mg).  On the flip side, Americans are only getting about 2,600 mg of potassium, about half the daily recommended amount of 4,700 mg.

Understanding How To Read/Study The Bible

There are four gospels; the first four books of the New Testament. They are called by the names of their authors - Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. Each gives an account of the life of Jesus as they or others witnessed it. So the accounts are not identical: The shortest of the gospels is Mark, so this is a good place to start.

The Bible, although in the form of a book, actually consists of 66 documents each of which is referred to as 'a book'.

The 66 documents are divided into two parts, 39 books in what is called the 'Old Testament' and 27 books in what is called the 'New Testament'.

The Old Testament describes the creation of the earth and of mankind, the entry of sin into the world, and the history of one nation of people, Israel, to whom God reveals what he is going to do to rescue mankind from judgment. The first book is called 'Genesis' which means 'beginnings'.

The New Testament begins with the records of the life and death of Jesus of Nazareth, shown by his deeds and His teaching to be the divine Son of God. He was crucified as a criminal but three days later came back to life.
